America I Am

The title "America I am" means that African Americans are a huge part of the Nation's development. Also Blacks played an important part in America's history. For example, colored people created the NAACP which mean National Advanced Association of Colored People, it successfully campaign African Americans. Another example is Dr. Martin Luther King and how he change the minds of some black people that were being mistreated by white's. One of the most important examples is the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendment helped blacks to be free and have the right to vote, they also got the chance to leave their slave owners.
