Where The Hell Is Matt

The video\activity that we did in class was called "Where In The World is Matt".  The video was about a man named Matt who dance in many different places in the world. Some of the places that he dance in were Japan, Mexico, Iceland, Australia, etc. I think we were shown the video because it showed us many different countries, cities all around the world. As we watch the video we wrote down as many places as we could. the one that we think was interesting to us was the one in Norway, on top of a rock, that was very high up, it would be funny if he fell down and served. what I learned from this video is the difference and the similarity of random place all over the world.

alice paul

Ms. Crum  came in our class on Friday and was talking about how Alice Paul was her roll model. She came on October 20th, in history class. Two new facts that I learned about her is that she dedicated her life for women to have the same rights as men did, she didn't give, and she had other people by her side. Before women could vote they had to stay at there homes while the men went to war and worked in factories, women couldn't go to war, and the women were going through suffrage. I think that Alice Paul will be a good name not only for our but for every class because what she did was heroic, brave, smart, and awesome. What she did for women was a real nice thing because she didn't have to do it. I think that the Sewall-Belmont house looked pretty much in good shape but we couldn't go in, that was were Alice Paul lived.

Sandra O' Connor

Sandra Day O'Connor was the first female to ever work in the supreme court. She is now retire and is now taking a rest from it. What we experienced today was Ms. O' Connor came to our school and we started to play games on a website called icivics.com, it was a very cool and wonderful game. A big idea that our class room got from her today is that being a supreme court justice is not an easy job for just anybody. There are some things that are easy, but some are hard. she was also the 2nd most powerful women in the city and the 6th most one in the world. Our experience that we had learned today is that Sandra O'Connor didn't really like most of the cases that she did but she said that some cases were very easy to do. What we have learned today is that Ms. O' Connor had to read more than one hundred papers a day. I hope that I wont have a job that is hard as reading over one hundred papers a day.

the life of Kofi

Sup, my name is Kofi. I am in the 8th grade and I'm the most vicious person you will ever meet. I like to eat, spend my life on the Internet, staying indoors, sleep, read, play, and eat. I hate work, school, outdoors, tomatoes, and my father. My favoriite colors are gray, purple and silver. My role model is my cousin because he is much like me and he is very successful. My highlight of my life so far is that I turned 13 this year because it means I am becoming a young man (but I really dont care). I hope my future holds healthiness, love, and pleasure. One other thing I would like to share with my readers is that I hate of watching scary movies.

hezekiah

My name is Hezekiah, I am a smart kid, and I like to run , play sports , and joke around when I have free time to do so. The kind sports that I like is football basketball and hockey. My role(the person i look up too)is my father because even though I don't see him I still get to talk to him and I ask him how he is doing and what kind of job does he have, my dad has a cool job being a car salesman. I want to be just like my dad. The best thing that happened to me in my life is when my mom, sister, and I went to drop my sister off to college once we did me and my mom was happy and she said''one more child to go''.

who is Alice Paul

Alice Paul received her undergraduate education from college. she earn ed her m.a. in the university of Pennsylvania. when she got older she became an educator in new york, she worked as a teacher in new york college settlement. After she finish teaching at the school she became the chair of a major committee of the national American women suffrage association.
