alice paul

Ms. Crum  came in our class on Friday and was talking about how Alice Paul was her roll model. She came on October 20th, in history class. Two new facts that I learned about her is that she dedicated her life for women to have the same rights as men did, she didn't give, and she had other people by her side. Before women could vote they had to stay at there homes while the men went to war and worked in factories, women couldn't go to war, and the women were going through suffrage. I think that Alice Paul will be a good name not only for our but for every class because what she did was heroic, brave, smart, and awesome. What she did for women was a real nice thing because she didn't have to do it. I think that the Sewall-Belmont house looked pretty much in good shape but we couldn't go in, that was were Alice Paul lived.
